Kiss the Hog
June
18-20, 2004

oOn Friday
afternoon, June 18th, 101 WPDH listeners converged at
center court at the Galleria at Crystal Run in Middletown
and locked their lips against 12 Harley Davidson
motorcycles. Fifty-five hours later, Charlie Brack
of Warwick was the sole kisser who outlasted 'em all, and
Charlie won a brand new Harley Davidson motorcycle from
O'Toole's Harley Davidson in Wurtsboro.
Early
in the contest...
Wayne
Kiersted was one of the final five.
It was
a battle of mind over motorcycle as the hours dragged on.

Contestants had to lock their lips against a Harley.
They could sit, kneel, or stand. Hands were not
allowed on the bike or floor.

Some kissed tires, others bussed side-view mirrors,
tail pipes and rear reflectors.

Charlie Brack (left) was the Grand Prize Winner.
Alfred Goodenough (center) and Joe Albert all made it to
the Final Five.
Here they are on Sunday afternoon.

Judge Princess Courtney (WPDH Promotions Director Courtney
Hoppe) kept a watchful eye on Wayne Kiersted (left) and
Paul Kartis.

O'Toole's Harley Davidson in Wurtsboro provided the grand
prize.

Contestants
could only eat or drink during intermittant breaks
called by the judges.

Shades came in
handy, as contestants had to
battle the glare of sunshine that poured through the
atrium.

The entire
contest was filmed by Beatlejuice Productions,
who are currently assembling a 'Kiss The Hog' documentary.

winner Charlie Brack telephones his family with the good
